In the 1990s, Angelo Bruno established the current Tenuta Bruno estate, marking a fundamental transition in the company’s history. From this moment on, the company embarked on a path of specialisation in the cultivation of wine grapes and grape processing, producing wines, sparkling wines and typical local products, such as cooked must.
The estate covers a total area of 25 hectares, located in the countryside of Tonnoniro, in Torremaggiore, of which 10 hectares are dedicated exclusively to wine production. This is where the Tenuta Bruno winery is located, where the estate’s grapes are processed using modern winemaking technologies, under the guidance of Salvatore Bruno, in a continuous dialogue between innovation, culture and winemaking expertise.

Founded as a farm in the 1960s, Tenuta Bruno has its roots in a long rural tradition, evolving over time in response to the needs of the agricultural market. Initially, the business focused on growing cereals, tomatoes and sugar beet, alongside agricultural machinery services for third parties.

Negli anni Novanta, Angelo Bruno dà vita all’attuale Tenuta Bruno, segnando un passaggio fondamentale nella storia aziendale. Da questo momento, l’azienda intraprende un percorso di specializzazione nella coltivazione delle viti da vino e nella trasformazione delle uve, dando origine a vini, spumanti e prodotti tipici della tradizione locale, come il mosto cotto.
L’azienda si estende su una superficie complessiva di 25 ettari, situati nell’agro di Tonnoniro, a Torremaggiore, di cui 10 ettari dedicati esclusivamente al settore vitivinicolo. Qui sorge la cantina di Tenuta Bruno, dove le uve di proprietà vengono trasformate attraverso moderne tecnologie enologiche, sotto la guida di Salvatore Bruno, in un continuo dialogo tra innovazione, cultura e sapere enologico.

The vineyards are managed in accordance with natural cycles, limiting invasive interventions and favouring methods that preserve the vitality of the soil and the quality of the grapes. In this process, a central role is played by the choice of native grape varieties, selected for their ability to authentically express the territory and keep the local wine-growing identity alive.
